Welcome back Fall 2023

It is time to get started again!  I hope everyone had a great summer.  Things are already underway for the new semester.  We had a great time demonstrating at the Celebration of Mines and we have a number of great new students joining us this semester!

Some things to have on your radar for this semester:

Carpools to Denver Aikikai on Saturdays: there will be a beginners class at 10:30am followed by weapons class

Aikido Summit on October 6th and 7th - this event brings together a number of great instructors from the area.  The Friday night is by donation, and there is a student rate of $50 for students for Saturday, the main event.

Pat Hendricks Shihan is in Colorado the first weekend of November.

Edgar Johansson Sensei of Denver Aikikai is planning to teach a special seminar the weekend before Thanksgiving to raise funds for moving to a new location.

Michael Friedl Sensei is teaching a seminar at Denver Aikikai and conducting black belt testing the first weekend of December.
