Aikido University Workshop 2023 Earth Day, April 22nd!

In addition to offering an opportunity to train under great teachers, the Aikido University Workshop seeks to accomplish three main goals:
- Bringing the community together - We all have a common passion for aikido. It is a great joy to be able to share it with people who are outside our usual training group.
- An event that is accessible to students - By making the event free for and tailored to university students we encourage the next generation!
- Social good - People who practice aikido tend to be socially conscious. This event allows them to come together around this intention. In honor of Earth Day, a portion of proceeds will go to a local environmental non-profit.
The Aikido University Workshop is happening again! This year we are having the instructors from the local universities teach to encourage student participation. This includes Eric Dobbs of the CU Aikido class, who was a great hit last year, Nathaniel Gilbert who leads class at Naropa, and David Ruttinger of the CSM Aikido club. Once again Abel Villacorta has generously offered to host this event at One Dojo.
In honor of Earth Day, this year part of the proceeds will go to a local environmental non-profit.
Students: FREE! (Please bring student ID if you can.)
Non-Students: Sliding scale TBD - Proceeds subsidize students, provide funds for local non-profits, help us to put on events like this in the future, and support the host dojo.
Spectators welcome!
Masks and proof of vaccination are NOT required, but please test yourself, wear a high quality mask, or stay home altogether if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

Pre-register now! Space is limited and prices for non-students go up in April.
